Description
Enables power currently provided on all ports on all slots, except for the ports that are explicitly
disabled by the
command.
disable inline-power ports
Syntax Description
This command has no arguments or variables.
Default
Enabled
Usage Guidelines
You can control whether inline power is provided to the system by using the
disable inline-power
command and the
enable inline-power
command. Using the
command makes
enable inline-power
power available on all ports on all slots. Using the
command shuts down
disable inline-power
power currently provided on all ports on all slots. By default, inline power provided to the system is
enabled. To shut down power to a specific port, use the
command.
disable inline-power ports
Example
The following command enables power currently provided on all ports on all slots:
enable inline-power
History
This command was first available in ExtremeWare 7.2.
This command was added to the Summit "e" series of switches in ExtremeWare 7.3e.
Platform Availability
This command is available only on Alpine FM32-Pi PoE Modules and the Summit 300-48 switch.
