LLDP Commands

enable lldp ports

enable lldp ports [all | <portlist>] {transmit-only | receive-only}
Description
Enables LLDP transmit mode, receive mode or transmit and receive mode on the specified port or ports.
If transmit or receive option is not specified, both transmit and receive are enabled.
Syntax Description

transmit only
receive only
Default
By default, LLDP is disabled on all ports.
Usage Guidelines

Example
The following example enables LLDP transmit and receive mode on port 1:4.
enable lldp ports 1:4 all

This command was first available in ExtremeWare 7.4.
Platform Availability
This command is available on all Extreme switches.

Applies to all ports on the switch.
Specifies a list of switch ports in the form i:*, i:n, or i:n-i-m.
Specifies that only the transmit mode is enabled.
Specifies that only the receive mode is enable. If neither the transmit-only
nor receive-only option is not specified, then both transmit and receive are
enabled.
