LLDP Commands

configure lldp transmit-hold

configure lldp transmit-hold <value>
Description
Calculates the actual time-to-live (TTL) value used in the LLDP PDU packets. The formula is
; by default this value is 30*4=120 seconds.
transmit-interval * transmit-hold
Syntax Description
value
Specifies the TTL value to transmit. The range is 2 to 10.
Default
The default is 4.
Usage Guidelines
N/A.
Example
The following command configures a transmit-hold value of 5 for the LLDP PDU packets.
configure lldp transmit-hold 5
