Use this command to set the authentication timeout between the device and the supplicant.
Use the no form of the command to restore it to the default setting.

show dot1x
Show the information about 802.1x.
Parameter
Description
Authentication timeout between the device and

the supplicant The range is from 0 to 65535
seconds.

Global configuration mode.
Use show dot1x command to show 802.1X configuration.
The following example sets the authentication timeout between the
device and the supplicant to 10s:
DES-7210# configure terminal
DES-7210(config)# dot1x timeout supp-timeout 10
