vrrp preempt

Use this command to set the preemption mode of the VRRP group. The no command
disables the VRRP preemption function.
vrrp group preempt [delay seconds]
no vrrp group preempt[delay]

Interface configuration mode.
If the secondary parameter is not used, the IP address set here will
become the master IP address of the virtual device. Note that if the
VRRP group is using the IP address of the Ethernet interface, an
error occurs when you remove the IP address of the VRRP group with
the no command, because there are duplicated IP address in the
LAN.
The example below enables the VRRP function on Ethernet interface
0. The VRRP group number is 1, primary IP address of the virtual
device is 10.0.1.20 and secondary IP address is 10.0.2.20.

no switchport
ip address 10.0.1.1 255.255.255.0
ip address 10.0.2.1 255.255.255.0 secondary
vrrp 1 ip 10.0.1.20
