ring

Use this command to configure the role of device in the specified region.

When a region is created, this device is allowed to enter this region.
The example below demonstrates how to use this command:

Command Description
rerp enable Enable RERP globally.
Parameter Description
num Ring ID.
master|backup| Configure the device as a master/
transit backup/slave device.
vid Control vlan ID.
Interface-id Interface identifier.

RERP region configuration mode.
Each device plays only one role in a RERP ring. One RERP ring can
configure only one master device and one backup device. The port
joined the RERP ring is configured as the trunk port automatically,
and native vlan is configured as the control vlan automatically.
