Using the power supply exceeding 480V

To input a voltage between 480 V and 500 V to the 400 V class inverter, change the voltage protection
level.
Pr.
977
E302
● To use a voltage between 480 V and 500 V, set Pr. 977 "Input voltage mode selection" = "1". The
setting is applied after a reset.
● Setting Pr. 977 = "1" will change the voltage protection level to the one for the 500 V class.
● The increased magnetic excitation deceleration level is changed to 740 V. (Use Pr. 660 "Increased
magnetic excitation deceleration operation selection" to select the increased magnetic excitation
deceleration.)
NOTES
Stand-alone options (except line noise filter) cannot be used when inputting a voltage between
480 and 500 V.
The voltage protection level of the 200 V class inverters is not affected by the Pr. 977 setting.

Parameter write selection
Whether to enable the writing to various parameters or not can be selected. Use this function to pre-
vent parameter values from being rewritten by misoperation.
Pr.

E400
Pr. 77 can be set at any time regardless of the operation mode or operation status. (Setting through
communication is unavailable.)
