4.7 Basic operation procedure (JOG operation)
4.7.1 Performing JOG operation using external signals
NOTES Perform JOG operation only while the JOG signal is ON.
Use Pr. 15 "Jog frequency" and Pr. 16 "Jog acceleration/deceleration time" for the operation.
Set Pr. 79 "Operation mode selection" ="2" (External operation mode).

Screen at power-ON
The monitor display appears.
Turning ON the JOG signal
Turn ON the JOG switch (JOG). The inverter is set ready for the JOG operation.
Start ➔ acceleration ➔ constant speed
Turn ON the start switch (STF or STR). The frequency value on the indication increases in Pr. 16 "Jog acceleration/
deceleration time", and "
indicator is lit during the reverse rotation.
Deceleration ➔ stop
Turn OFF the start switch (STF or STR). The frequency value on the indication decreases in Pr. 16 "Jog acceleration/
deceleration time", and the motor stops rotating with "
OFF. Turn OFF the JOG switch (JOG).

NOTES To change the running frequency, change Pr. 15 "Jog frequency" (initial value "5 Hz").
To change the acceleration/deceleration time, change Pr. 16 "Jog acceleration/deceleration time"
(initial value "0.5 s").
