Facility and Instrument Dimensions

A typical configuration for a system in a laboratory showing the G200
cabinet and computer workstation (not included) is shown in
Figure
2-2.
Figure 2-2 Suggested lab layout for G200
Prior to installation, you should already have the table ready for the PC
monitor and keyboard; this table should be immediately adjacent to
where the Nano Indenter G200 will sit.
The Workspace PC Monitor/keyboard and Sample Preparation tables
are not included in the purchase of an Nano Indenter G200.
We recommend having a separate and dedicated work area for sample
preparation so that cutting, mounting and adhering samples may be done
away from the operating area of the machine. Consideration should also
be given to storage of samples, test data, and associated tools necessary
for the use and service of the system. Finally, depending on the height of
the operator, a small step ladder may be necessary to reach all parts of
the instrument.
Note the G200 indenter cabinet will require 102 inches of ceiling height
NOT E
in order to open the top fully.
