Agilent Nano Indenter G200 User's Guide
The Dynamic Contact Module II (DCM II) is optional for the G200
Nano Indenter. The advantages of the Dynamic Contact Module II
(DCM II) are:
Improved resolution in both force and displacement.
Decreased sensitivity to environmental noise.
These two advantages enable you to make meaningful measurements of
mechanical properties at displacements as small as 10 nm. More
information regarding DCM II is provided in
Contact Module II".
The DCM II head is shown in

used to support the indentation system, optics system, and motion
system, as well as optional hardware. The gantry is manufactured to be
extremely rigid, providing the system with a very high load frame
stiffness (LFS). All of the electronic connectors necessary to run the
instrument are panel-mounted on the gantry. Finally,
used to adjust the microscope are extended through the front of the
gantry.
