Make sure that the fused silica standard is in the center sample-disk

hole in the sample tray.
In NanoSuite, select Open Method... from the Method menu.

From the Filename drop-down box in Open Method dialog box,

select the correct method for the installed indenter head:
For the XP head, choose XP > G-Series CSM Standard

Hardness, Modulus, and Tip Cal as shown on the top in
Figure 6-85.
For the DCM head, choose DCM > G-Series DCM CSM

Standard Hardness, Modulus, and Tip Cal as shown on the
bottom in Figure
Figure 6-85Select method for CSM Standard Hardness, Modulus, and
Tip Cal for XP head (top) or DCM head (bottom)
Click OK.
