Understanding Excel Formats and Analyst

Agilent Nano Indenter G200 User's Guide
NanoSuite creates an Excel workbook for each sample. The sample
workbook contains a worksheet for each test, which contains a column
for each channel of data. The channels that display are controlled by the
channel export order as defined in the NanoSuite method. Any
NanoSuite channel can be exported. The sample workbook also contains
worksheets for the NanoSuite results, required inputs, and post-test
editable inputs.
Analyst creates a project workbook with the default name of Analyst
Project unless you specify a different name.
When you click the Calculate icon of the Toolbar, Analyst calculates
additional information and places the information in the sample
workbooks and the project workbook.
For each sample, Analyst creates an average channel for each of the
1
channels in the tests. This average channel is placed in the sample
workbook in a worksheet called Sample. In addition to the channel,
a confidence interval or standard deviation is calculated for each
channel.
For each sample, the sample worksheet is copied to the project
2
workbook in a worksheet named after the sample. These worksheets
contain the data from which the project X-Y graphs are created.
A Results worksheet is created in the project workbook that contains
3
the mean results from each of the sample results page. This
worksheet contains the data from which the bar charts are created.
Analyst also opens the Analyst Templates workbook. This
4
workbook contains a chart from which all new charts are
created. This enables you to control the default formatting of the
charts.
