Power Sliding Doors
Left Slide Motor Revolution Sensor Test
1. Remove the rear side trim panel (see page 20-60).
2. Check for voltage between the No. 4 terminal and
body ground. There should be battery voltage.
• If there is no voltage, check the following:
– a faulty power sliding door control unit.
– an open in the RED wire.
– a short in the wire.
3. Check for voltage between the No. 4 and No. 1
terminals. There should be battery voltage.
• If there is no voltage, check the following:
– a faulty power sliding door control unit.
– an open in the PNK/BLK wire.

4. Turn the power sliding door main switch OFF.
5. While slowly sliding the door manually, check for
voltage between the power sliding door control
unit terminals A26 and A24.
There should be 0 to about 5 V repeatedly.
• If there is no voltage, check the following:
– a faulty power sliding door control unit.
– a faulty left slide motor revolution sensor.
– an open or a short in the LT GRN/BLK wire.

6. While slowly sliding the door manually, check for
voltage between the power sliding door control
unit terminals A12 and A24.
There should be 0 to about 5 V repeatedly.
• If there is no voltage, check the following:
– a faulty power sliding door control unit.
– a faulty left slide motor revolution sensor.
– an open or a short in the RED/BLK wire.
