Internal failure of SRS unit
NOTE: Before troubleshooting DTCs 5-1 through 8-6, check battery
/system voltage. If the voltage is low, repair the charging system
before troubleshooting the SRS.
Internal failure of the SRS unit. If intermittent, it could mean
internal failure of the unit or a faulty indicator circuit. Refer to
Troubleshooting Intermittent Failures (see page 23-39).
NOTE: Before troubleshooting DTC 9-1 or 9-2, check battery/
system voltage. If the voltage is low, repair the charging system
before troubleshooting the SRS.
Internal failure of the SRS unit. If intermittent, it could mean
internal failure of the power supply (VB line). Refer to
Troubleshooting Intermittent Failures (see page 23-39).
NOTE: Before troubleshooting DTC 9-1 or 9-2, check battery/
system voltage. If the voltage is low, repair the charging system or
replace the battery before troubleshooting the SRS.
Seat belt tensioners (and airbag(s)) deployed.
