28. Disconnect SRS floor harness 28P connector (A)
from the SRS main harness connector C851.

29. Check resistance between the No. 27 terminal of
SRS unit connector B (28P) and the No. 16 terminal
of SRS floor harness 28P connector C851. There
should be 0 1.0 .

Wire side of female terminals
SRS FLOOR HARNESS
28P CONNECTOR C851
Terminal side of male terminals
Is the resistance as specif ied?
YES Open in the BLU wire of the SRS main
harness; replace the SRS main harness.
NO Open in the BLU wire of the SRS floor
harness; replace the SRS floor harness.
30. Disconnect dashboard wire harness A 21P
connector C505 from the right side wire harness.

31. Check resistance between the No. 27 terminal of
SRS unit connector B (28P) and body ground. There
should be an open circuit, or at least 1 M .

Is the resistance as specif ied?
YES
harness; replace the right side wire harness.
NO
SRS UNIT CONNECTOR B (28P)
Wire side of female terminals
Short to ground in the right side wire
Go to step 32.
