Identifying the device path
This section describes how to identify the device paths of SAS disks, disks connected through Fibre cards, and
GigaLAN devices.
SAS disk
The following example describes how to identify a SAS disk built into SASU#0.

The displayed device path for a SAS device has "Scsi" in it.
The device path of this SAS device is as follows:

Size indicates the partition size. It is represented by a 64-bit numerical value.
CD/DVD media.
Entry represents the boot entry number. (It can be omitted.) It is usually 0.
Start indicates the start sector of a boot entry. It is represented by a 64-bit numerical
value.
Size indicates the boot entry size. It is represented by a 64-bit numerical value.
USB.
Port indicates the USB port number. It has a hexadecimal value in a range of 0 to 255.
Interface indicates the interface number. It has a hexadecimal value in a range of 0
to 255.
