[Partition] Menu

You can display and specify the status of the partitions in the PRIMEQUEST 1000 series server from the [Partition]
menu.
1.3.1

[Power Control] window

You can perform power control for the partitions in the [Power Control] window.
This window displays only the partition that contains an SB, IOB, or GSPB.
Specifically, the window displays the partitions that satisfy one of the following conditions:
- the partition contains one or more SBs, or
- the partition contains either one LIOB or one LGSPB.
Remarks
A shutdown executed from the MMB Web-UI may not shut down partitions where Windows is installed. Use the
shutdown function of Windows to power off these partitions. For details on the shutdown function of Windows,
see 9.6 Remote Shutdown (Windows) in the PRIMEQUEST 1000 Series Administration Manual (C122-E108EN).

- Users with Partition Operator privileges (and managing Partition#0):
These users are permitted to operate only the partitions under their management.
The pull-down menus and setting items of partitions not under their management are grayed out.
