Filter Definition Update Commands (fltcpy, fltupdate)

The two filter definition update commands are the fltcpy command and fltupdate command.
A filter definition may be provided as a compressed file. The fltcpy command copies an extracted filter definition
from a directory to the work directory for updating PSA filters.
The fltupdate command copies the filter definition from the work directory to the operating directory and updates
the filter definition.
Remarks
- The user must have root (Linux) or Administrator (Windows) privileges to execute this command. In
Windows, if an operating system function (access control function) is used to execute the command with
privileges other than Administrator privileges, the end status is undefined.
- You cannot update a filter definition while PSA is running.
(1) Syntax
- In Linux or VMware
/opt/FJSVpsa/sh/fltcpy [-f] [-d directory name]
/opt/FJSVpsa/sh/fltupdate [-f]
- In Windows
fltcpy [-f] [-d directory name]
fltupdate [-f]
(2) Options
a. fltcpy
- [-f]
This option forcibly updates the filter definition in the work directory. This is required for restoring an old
version of a filter definition.
If the option is omitted and there is a newer version of the filter definition in the work directory, it does not
update the definition.
- [-d directory name]
This option specifies the directory from which to extract the filter definition used for the update.
If the option is omitted, the current directory is assumed.
b. fltupdate
- [-f]
This option forcibly updates the filter definition in the operating directory. This is required for restoring an
old version of a filter definition.
If the option is omitted and there is a newer version of the filter definition in the operating directory, it does
not update the definition.
(3) Usage example
