PSA Start/Stop Command (y30FJSVpsa)

The y30FJSVpsa command starts or stops PSA.
Remarks
- This command is available only in Linux.
- The user must have root privileges to execute this command. In Windows, if an operating system function
(access control function) is used to execute the command with privileges other than Administrator privileges,
the end status is undefined.
- PSA is a daemon program. It starts automatically when the system boots.
- Stopping and restarting PSA resets all the statuses managed in PSA (e.g., [Status] field values in the [PCI
Devices] window) to the default value ([OK]).
- If PSA starts during execution of the disk management command, PSA will not operate normally. Start PSA
after the command is completed.
(1) Syntax
/sbin/service y30FJSVpsa {start | stop | status}
(2) Options
start | stop | status
- start: Starts PSA.
- stop: Stops PSA.
- status: Checks the PSA operating status.
(3) Usage example
a. Example of starting PSA
# /sbin/service y30FJSVpsa start
b. Example of stopping PSA
# /sbin/service y30FJSVpsa stop
c. Example of checking the PSA operating status
# /sbin/service y30FJSVpsa status
If PSA is already running, the following message appears.
PSA is already running
If PSA is stopped, the following message appears.
PSA is stopped(xxxx)
