reset

The reset command specifies a Hard Reset of the specified partition.
If the partition specified in the parameter is not configured, the partition is ignored.
If the power to the specified partition is not on, the command has no effect on the partition.
Users with Partition Operator privileges can perform this operation only on partitions under their management.
If the specified parameters include a partition not under management, an error message appears. The specified
partition cannot be operated.
Privileges: Administrator, Operator, Partition Operator (only for a partition under
management)
(1) Syntax
reset {partition} [<partition#> [, | -] <partition#>] {quiet}
(2) Options
partition: This option specifies a Hard Reset of the partition identified by the specified partition#. This parameter
can be omitted.
However, even if the parameter is omitted, processing assumes that the partition parameter is specified. Therefore,
a partition must be specified.
Partitions are specified as follows:
- Specify partition numbers delimited by commas.
- Specify a range of partition numbers.
quiet: This option executes the command without user interaction.
(3) Usage example
Example: Specifying a reset of Partition#1 as a user with Administrator privileges
Administrator>reset partition 1
Are you sure you want to Reset to Partition#1? [Y/N]: Y
Administrator>
