disable mac-lockdown-timeout ports [<portlist> | all]
Description
This command disables the MAC address lockdown timeout feature for the specified port or group of
ports or for all ports.
Syntax Description
portlist
Specifies one or more ports or slots and ports. On a modular switch, can be a list of slots and ports.
On a stand-alone switch, can be one or more port numbers. May be in the form 1, 2, 3-5, 2:*, 2:5,
2:6-2:8.
all
Specifies all ports.
Default
By default, the MAC address lockdown timeout feature is disabled.
Usage Guidelines
If you disable the MAC lockdown timer on a port with a configured MAC address learning limit, the
limit continues to apply to the port.
When you disable the MAC lockdown timer on a port, existing MAC address entries for the port will
time out based on the FDB aging period.
Example
The following example disables the MAC address lockdown timeout set for ports 3, and 5.
disable mac-lockdown-timeout ports 3,5
