configure radius-accounting shared-secret

configure radius-accounting [primary | secondary] shared-secret {encrypted}
[<string>]
Description
Configures the authentication string used to communicate with the RADIUS accounting server.
Syntax Description
primary
Configures the authentication string for the primary RADIUS accounting server.
secondary
Configures the authentication string for the secondary RADIUS accounting server.
encrypted
Indicates that the secret should be encrypted
string
The string to be used for authentication.
Default
Unconfigured
Usage Guidelines
The secret must be the same between the client switch and the RADIUS accounting server.
If the server address is not specified, shared-secret is configured on all primary and secondary RADIUS
accounting servers.
You must configure the RADIUS accounting server first before configuring the shared secret for a
specific server.
Example
The following command configures the shared secret as "purpleaccount" on the primary RADIUS
accounting server:
configure radius-accounting primary shared-secret purpleaccount
History
This command was first available in ExtremeWare 4.1.
This command was added to the Summit "e" series of switches in ExtremeWare 7.1e.
Platform Availability
This command is available on all platforms.
