Modbus gateway

The LR54 supports the ability to function as a Modbus gateway, to provide serial-to-Ethernet
connectivity to Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Remote Terminal Units (RTUs), and other
industrial devices. MODBUS provides client/server communication between devices connected on
different types of buses and networks, and the Modbus gateway allows for communication between
buses and networks that use the Modbus protocol.
