Checking the neutral switch
(remote control model)
Before checking the neutral switch, make
sure to check the engine start switch.
1. Move the remote control lever to the N
position.
2. Disconnect the 10-pin main wiring har-
ness coupler.
3. Turn the engine start switch to "START",
and then check the neutral switch for
continuity between the terminals a and
b.
4. Move the remote control lever to the F or
R position, and then check the neutral
switch for continuity.

5. Turn the engine start switch to "OFF".
6. Connect the 10-pin main wiring harness
coupler.
