Checking the engine start switch
(remote control model)
1. Disconnect the 10-pin main wiring har-
ness coupler.
2. Measure the engine start switch input
voltage at the 10-pin main wiring harness
coupler a.

(reference data):
Terminal b–Terminal c
12 V (battery voltage)
3. Move the remote control lever to the N
position.
4. Check the engine start switch for continu-
ity.

5. Connect the 10-pin main wiring harness
coupler.
Checking the engine shut-off switch
(tiller handle model)
1. Disconnect the engine shut-off switch
connector a and ground terminal b.
2. Check the engine shut-off switch 1 for
continuity between the engine shut-off
switch connector a and the ground ter-
minal b.
