Removing the drive shaft, oil seal
housing, and shift rod
1. Loosen the pinion nut, and then remove
the drive shaft assembly 1 and pinion

2. Remove the forward gear assembly.
3. Remove the plate 4, oil seal housing 5
and gasket 6, and then remove the shift
rod 7.
