Drive shaft holder 3 5: 90890-06517
Pinion nut 4: 50 N·m (5.0 kgf·m, 36.9 ft·lb)
TIP:
When installing the pinion 3, lift up the drive
shaft slightly and align the pinion and drive-
shaft splines.
3. Install new O-rings 6 and 7, the shift
rod 8, the washer 9, and the plate 0.
4. Install the washer A, oil seal housing
assembly B, and cover C.

Installing the propeller shaft housing
assembly
1. Install the washer 1 and propeller shaft
assembly 2.

2. Install the propeller shaft housing assem-
bly 3, and then tighten the bolts 4 to the
specified torque.
Propeller shaft housing bolt 4:
16 N·m (1.6 kgf·m, 11.8 ft·lb)
