Cylinder head bolt 3 1–6 (M9):
1st: 12 N·m (1.2 kgf·m, 8.9 ft·lb)
2nd: 23 N·m (2.3 kgf·m, 17.0 ft·lb)
3rd: 90°
Cylinder head bolt 4 7–9 (M6):
1st: 6 N·m (0.6 kgf·m, 4.4 ft·lb)
2nd: 12 N·m (1.2 kgf·m, 8.9 ft·lb)
TIP:
In the 3rd tightening stage for the M9 bolts
3, make a mark a on the M9 bolts and the
cylinder head, and then tighten the bolts 90°
from the mark.
3. Install a new gasket 5 and the cylinder
head cover 6.

4. Install a new gasket 7 and the oil pump
assembly 8 by aligning the slot in the oil
pump drive shaft b with the camshaft pin
c. NOTICE: Before installing the oil
pump assembly 8, make sure to fill it
with engine oil through the oil pas-
