Removing the clamp bracket

1. Remove the PTT unit. See "Removing
the PTT unit" (9-59).
2. Remove the stoppers 1.
3. Disconnect the ground leads 2, 3, and

4. Remove the caps 5, and then remove
the self-locking nuts 6.
5. Remove the through tube 7, and then
disassemble the clamp brackets 8 and
9 and swivel bracket 0.

6. Remove the pin A, stopper knob B,
stopper pin C, and bushing D.

1. Check the anodes. Replace if eroded.

Installing the clamp bracket

1. Install the bushing 1, stopper pin 2,

2. Tighten the self-locking nut 5 completely

NOTICE: Do not apply grease, oil, or
paint to the anodes.
