Disassembling the oil pan and
exhaust manifold
1. Remove the exhaust manifold 1 and
gasket 2.
2. Remove the oil pan 3, dowels 4, cool-
ing water pipe 5, and gasket 6.

3. Remove the oil strainer 7, cover 8, and
gaskets 9 and 0.

5. Remove the oil seal B.

Checking the oil pan and exhaust
manifold
1. Clean the removed parts.
2. Check the exhaust manifold and exhaust
guide. Replace if corroded or cracked.
3. Check the oil pan. Replace if corroded or
cracked.

Checking the oil strainer

1. Check the oil strainer. Clean if there is
dirt or residue.

Checking the exhaust guide anode

1. Check the anode. Replace if eroded.
Clean if there is grease, oil, or scales.
NOTICE: Do not apply grease, oil, or
paint to the anode.
Assembling the oil pan and exhaust
manifold
Do not reuse a gasket, oil seal, or rubber
seal, always replace it with a new one.
1. Install a new oil seal 1 into the exhaust
guide 2 to the specified depth a.
