Removing the wiring harness

1. Remove the caps a, and then discon-
nect the wiring harness 1 and PTT relay
coupler b. (PTT model)
2. Remove the PTT relay coupler b from
the bracket, and then remove the PTT
relay 2. (PTT model)

3. Disconnect the CDI unit coupler c, and
then remove the CDI unit 3.
4. Disconnect the starter relay connector

5. Remove the neutral switch 4. (Tiller

6. Remove the alert indicator coupler e
from the bracket.
7. Disconnect the wiring harness ground
lead f. (PTT model)

É Remote control model
8. Unfasten the main wiring harness from
the holders 5, and then remove the fuse
holders 6 and 7. (Electric starter
model)
9. Disconnect the starter relay lead g.
10. Disconnect the ground leads h, and
then remove the starter relay 8. (Electric
starter model)
11. Disconnect the magnet switch lead k.
(Electric starter model)
12. Remove the bracket 9.
