9. Adjust the shift cable joint 5, and then
install the shift cable joint 5 to the pin f.
WARNING! The shift cable joint must
be screwed in 8.0 mm (0.31 in) or
more.
Dimension g: 8.0 mm (0.31 in) or more
10. Install the clip 7, and then tighten the
shift cable locknut 8 to the specified
torque.

Shift cable locknut 8:
5 N·m (0.5 kgf·m, 3.7 ft·lb)
11. Fully screw in the throttle cable joint 9 to
the throttle cable 4.
12. Pull the inner cable so that there is no
free play (backlash).

13. Check that the throttle cam 0 contacts
the stopper A.
14. Adjust the throttle cable joint 9, and then
install the throttle cable joint 9 to the pin
h of the throttle cam. WARNING! The
throttle cable joint must be screwed in
8.0 mm (0.31 in) or more.

15. Install the clip B, and then tighten the
throttle cable locknut C to the specified
torque.
Throttle cable locknut C:
5 N·m (0.5 kgf·m, 3.7 ft·lb)
16. Check the shift cable and throttle cable
for proper operation.
