Removing the cylinder head

1. Remove the oil pump assembly 1 and
gasket 2.
2. Remove the cylinder head cover 3 and
gasket 4.

3. Loosen the bolts 5 and 6 in the order
1, 2, and so on, and then remove the
cylinder head assembly 7 and gasket
8. NOTICE: Do not scratch or damage
the mating surfaces of the cylinder
head and cylinder block.

Installing the cylinder head

Do not reuse a gasket, always replace it
with a new one.
1. Install a new gasket 1 and the cylinder
head assembly 2, and then tighten the
bolts 3 to the specified torques in 3
stages and in the order 1, 2, and so on.
2. Tighten the bolts 4 to the specified
torques in 2 stages and in the order 7,
8, and so on.
