TIP:
Make sure to set the measurement range g,
and display the mark h by pushing the
"SHIFT" switch when checking the Rectifier
Regulator continuity.
7. Connect the Rectifier Regulator couplers,
and then install the flywheel magnet
cover.

PTT electrical system

Checking the PTT relay

1. Measure the input voltage between the
PTT relay terminals a and b.

PTT relay input voltage:
Terminal a–Terminal b
12.0 V (battery voltage)
2. Disconnect the battery power source,
ground lead, PTT motor leads, and PTT
relay coupler. NOTICE: Always discon-
nect the battery negative terminal
before disconnecting the PTT relay
terminals.
3. Connect the special service tool 1.
4. Check the PTT relay for continuity.
Replace if out of specification.
