Do not reuse a bearing, oil seal, or O-ring,
always replace it with a new one.
1. Install a new needle bearing 1 to the
specified depth a.

Bearing depth plate 2: 90890-06603
Driver rod SS 3: 90890-06604
Needle bearing attachment 4:
90890-06614
Depth a: 23.5–24.0 mm (0.93–0.94 in)
TIP:
Face the identification mark b on the needle
bearing toward the propeller side.
2. Install new oil seals 5 to the specified
depth c.
Propeller shaft housing (high thrust model)
Driver rod LS 6: 90890-06606
Ball bearing attachment 7: 90890-06637
Depth c: 4.0–4.5 mm (0.16–0.18 in)
TIP:
Install an oil seal halfway into the propeller
shaft housing, and then install the other oil
seal.
3. Install the original reverse gear shims 8

TIP:
Face the identification mark d on the ball
