Removing the upper case

1. Drain the remaining engine oil.
2. Remove the lower mount cover 1. (For
Oceania)
3. Disconnect the ground lead 2.
4. Loosen the bolts 3 and 4.

5. Remove the nuts 5 and 6, and then
remove the upper case assembly 7.
6. Remove the upper mount 8, plate 9,
lower mount housings 0, and lower
mount assemblies A.

Upper case and mounts (high thrust model)
7. Remove the washers B, bolts C, wash-
ers D, rubber washers E, and washers
F, from the lower mounts G, and then
remove the caps H.

Installing the upper case

1. Install the washers 1, rubber washers
2, washers 3, bolts 4, and washer 5
to the lower mounts 6, and then install
the caps 7.

2. Install the plate 8 and bolts 9 to the
upper mount 0, and then install the
upper mount assembly.
3. Tighten the bolts A temporarily.
