2. Click the Sensor tab.
3. Specify the global default VLAN ID and the Ping Interval for all sensors and click the Apply
4. In the Default Configuration section, give the default configuration values of the WIPS server.

Unselect the Use DHCP to obtain IP Address automatically option to assign IP address of the
VLAN manually and do not want DHCP to provide them. Selecting this disables the IP address
field and the Subnet Mask field. Enter the IP Address and the Subnet Mask of the default VLAN
in the respective fields. Also enter the Gateway IP Address, Primary WIPS Server Address, and
the Secondary WIPS Server Address. The Sensor Display Table displays the following
information:
Displays the numerical value assigned to each sensor AP.
Displays the Media Access Control (MAC) address for each sensor AP.
Displays the VLAN that each sensor AP is associated with.
Displays the number of seconds since the switch last received packets from each sensor AP.
Displays the current IP address for each sensor AP.
Select a sensor AP from the table and click the
AP back to a standard Access Port.
Revert to AP
