To view existing Radio Configuration information:
1. Select Network > Access Port from the main menu tree.
Unadopted AP
Click the
Index
Displays a numerical identifier used to associate a particular Access Port with a set of statistics and can help
differentiate the Access Port from other Access Ports with similar attributes.
MAC Address
Displays the unique Hardware or Media Access Control (MAC) address for the Access Port. Access ports with dual
radios will have a unique MAC address for each radio. The MAC address is hard-coded at the factory and cannot be
modified.
Last Seen (In Seconds) Displays the time the Access Port was last seen (observed within the switch-managed network). This value is
expressed in seconds. Use this value to assess if the Access Port is no longer in communications with the switch.
Number of Unadopted
Displays the total number of Access Ports (at the bottom of the screen) that have been recognized, but not adopted

by the switch.
2. Select an available index and click the Adopt button to display a screen wherein the properties

CAUTION
An Access Port is required to have a DHCP provided IP address before attempting layer 3
adoption, otherwise it will not work. Additionally, the Access Port must be able to find the IP
addresses of the switches on the network. To locate switch IP addresses on the network:
