Lesson 2 – TIA Setup
2-3
Front-End and TIA Setup
The setups for the front-end module and the TIA are made in the
Hardware Settings page of the Analog Setup Tool.
Unlike the other modules, the TIA only requires Hardware
Settings. This means that the Sequencer Memory, the Waveform
Memory and the Clock Domain setup pages are not applicable for
the TIA.
This section explains all settings you can make in the Hardware
Settings page, and also the TIA functions you set up by making the
settings.
The following figure shows the Hardware Settings page for the TIA.

General Settings
The general settings of the Hardware Settings page are the Pin/
Board selection, and the selection of the Analog Set. They are
made in the same way as for the other analog modules, except for
the fact, that you need to specify which of the two TIA
instruments (also called TIA cores) that can be connected to the
front-end module you want to set up.
