These numbers are eight times those shown in two previous table
for per measure unit.

*: This number is available when the units are configured to be triggered from the common trigger pins.
Input/Output Pogo Pins
Each of source unit and measure unit has 4 pogo pins, thus, 32
pins for the eight units. In addition, there are two common trigger
pins. In total, 34 pogo pins in one MCA module, except the GND
pogo pins.
Common Trigger and Unit Trigger
The two common trigger pins are trigger inputs for all units. A
trigger signal from a common trigger pin is distributed to all or
any units on the module. A trigger signal from the other common
trigger pin can be distributed to the rest of the units. For each of
the eight units, one of the two common trigger pins can be
assigned as the trigger input pin. More trigger input pins are
available by using the unit trigger pin, which is owned by the unit.
An analog input/output pin in any unit or each of any units can be
configured as the unit trigger pin, from which only the one unit
can be triggered. For each of the eight units, one of the three
trigger pins (which are two common trigger pins and the unit
trigger pin) can be assigned as the trigger input pin.
Software Identifier MCA
The software identifier, MCA is used for the two models: the multi-
site baseband analog source & measure and the multi-site
baseband analog measure.
In the two models of MCA modules, the hardware is the same
except for units 1 through 4. For the source&measure module,
units 1 through 4 are the source units. For the measure module,
units 1 through 4 are the measure units. Units 5 through 8 in the
two models are the measure units.
Since the system software handles these two models as the same
kind of module (the software identifier MCA), in multi-site testing,
for example you can test a device with eight sites in parallel by
assigning four of the eight sites for the video digitizers in the
source&measure module, and the remaining four sites for the
video digitizers in the measure module. That is, for a pin of the
test device, sites 1 through 4 can use the digitizer in the
