• If any errors occur that are not covered in the following tables, print out the con-
tents of the PC Interface Area and related DM Area words from the CX-Pro-
grammer or other Programming Device and provide them to your OMRON
representative.
• If an operation cannot be properly executed, it may be that a program or pa-
rameters were not saved when they were transferred. If CX-Position is being
used, upload the parameters and operating data from the PCU and open the
file and check to be sure that the data was transferred and saved properly. If
CX-Position is not being used, check the parameters and operating data in the
DM Area.
• If an operation cannot be properly executed, there may be an error in data or
signal exchange between the ladder program and the PCU. Use the CX-Pro-
grammer data trace function to check whether the data is being exchanged at
the correct timing.
Probable causes
Power supply lines are wired
incorrectly.
The power supply voltage is
low.
An internal fuse has blown.
The power supply is
defective.
The power supply capacity is
insufficient.
The PCU is defective.
Operating command has not
been output from the Output
Unit to the Servo Drive.
Servo Drive setting error.
Items to check
Check the power supply wiring.
Check the power supply
voltage.
Check the fuses.
Check the power supply.
Add up the power supply
capacity for all of the Units
mounted to the same
Backplane, including the CPU
Unit, and compare that to the
power supply capacity of the
Power Supply Unit. If the
combined capacity of the Units
is greater than that of the Power
Supply Unit, then they cannot
be properly used.
---
Check the wiring between the
Output Unit and the Servo Drive
with a tester.
Check that an operating com-
mand has been included in the
ladder program.
Check the settings for the Servo
Drive.
Section
11-1
Remedy
Correct the power
supply wiring.
Check the power supply
capacity and correct the
power supply.
Replace the fuse and
determine what caused
it to blow. (Refer to the
troubleshooting section
in the applicable CPU
Unit operation manual.)
Replace the power
supply.
Increase the power
supply capacity
Change the
configuration so that the
power supply capacity at
the Backplane is not
exceeded.
Follow the steps given in
sections 11-3 onwards.
Correct the wiring.
Correct the ladder pro-
gram.
Correct the settings for
the Servo Drive.
