Click the Apply button to accept the changes made for each individual section.
IMPB Port Settings
Select a port or a range of ports with the From Port and To Port fields. Enable or disable the port with the State,
Allow Zero IP and Forward DHCP Packet field, and configure the port's Max Entry.
To view this window, click Security > IP-MAC-Port Binding (IMPB) > IMPB Port Settings as shown below:
Description
Select to enable or disable the roaming state. When IMPB roaming is enabled, the
dynamic authenticated MAC address which learned through DHCP/ND snooping on
specific port can change to another port if it detects (1) a new DHCP process belong
to same IP and MAC address or (2) a new DAD process belong to same IP and
MAC.
Click the radio buttons to enable or disable the sending of trap/log messages for IP-
MAC-port binding. When Enabled, the Switch will send a trap message to the SNMP
agent and the Switch log when an ARP/IP packet is received that doesn't match the
IP-MAC-port binding configuration set on the Switch. The default is Disabled.
Click the radio buttons to enable or disable DHCP snooping (IPv4) for IP-MAC-port
binding. The default is Disabled.
Click the radio buttons to enable or disable DHCP snooping (IPv6) for IP-MAC-port
binding. The default is Disabled.
Click the radio buttons to enable or disable enable ND snooping on the Switch. The
default is Disabled.
Enter the port numbers used to recover the learning port state. Tick the All check
box to apply to all ports.
This option is used to download or upload DHCPv4 Snooping binding entries by
TFTP. Enter the file path, to the TFTP server, here. Alternatively, click on the
Browse button and navigate to the file located on the PC. Click the Download
button to initiate the download. Click the Upload button to initiate the upload.
This option is used to save the DHCPv4 snooping binding entries. Enter the
filename here. Note: This feature is only supported on devices that support external
memory (e.g. SD card).
Select to enable or disable the automatic save option.
Click the Save button to manually initiate the saving of the DHCP snooping binding
entry here.
