Telnet Settings

Users can configure Telnet Settings on the Switch.
To view the following window, click Management > Telnet Settings, as shown below:
The fields that can be configured are described below:
Parameter
Telnet State
Port (1-65535)
Interface Name
IPv4 Address
IPv6 Address
Click the Apply button to accept the changes made.
Click the Clear IP Address button to clear the IP addresses entered.

Web Settings

Users can configure the Web settings on the Switch.
To view the following window, click Management > Web Settings, as shown below:
The fields that can be configured are described below:

Description
Telnet configuration is Enabled by default. If you do not want to allow configuration of the
system through Telnet choose Disabled.
The TCP port number used for Telnet management of the Switch. The "well-known" TCP
port for the Telnet protocol is 23.
Enter the TELNET source IP interface name used here.
Enter the TELNET source IPv4 address used here.
Enter the TELNET source IPv6 address used here.

Description
Web-based management is Enabled by default. If you choose to disable this by clicking
Disabled, you will lose the ability to configure the system through the web interface as
