Driveshafts Reassembly (cont'd)
Set the new ear clamp band (A) by threading the
tab (B) into holes (C) of the band.
Close the ear portion (A) of the band with a
c o m m e r c i a l l y
a v a i l a b l e b o o t b a n d p i n c e r s
Kent-Moore J-35910 or equivalent {B).

Check the clearance between the closed ear portion
of the band. lf the clearance is not within the
standard. close the ear Dortion of the band farther.
14. Repeat steps 12 and 13 Jor the band on the other
end of the boot.
