10. Remove the cotter pin (A)from the tie-rod end ball
joint, then remove the nut (B).

Remove the tie-rod ball joint from the knuckle using
t h e s p e c i a l t o o l ( s e e p a g e 1 8 - 1 0 ) .
Remove the cotter pin (A) from the lower arm ball
j o i n t , a n d r e m o v e t h e c a s t l e n u t ( B ) .

14. Remove the lock pin (A) from the upper arm ball
ioint, and remove the castle nut (B).

Remove the upper arm ball joint from the knuckle
using the special tool (see page 18-10).
Remove the knuckle.
Remove the hub cap (A).
