DTC 71: Different Diameter Tire
1. Clear the DTC (see step 1 on page 19-35).
2. Test-drive the vehicle.
Does the ABS indicator come on, and is DTC 71
indicated?
YES - Make sure all four tires are the specified size
and are inflated to proper specification.l
NO - Intermittent failure; the vehicle is OK at this

DTC 81: Central Processing Unit (CPU)
Diagnosis, and ROM/RAM Diagnosis
1. Clear the DTC (see step 1 on page 19-35).
2. Test-drive the vehicle.
Does the ABS indicatot come on, and is DTC 81
indicated?
YES - Replace the ABS modulator-control unit.l
NO lntermittent failure; the vehicle is OK at this
