Removing Toner Cartridges

1. Press the printer's front cover latch and tilt the cover out and
down (fig. 9.1).

2. Remove each toner cartridge by grasping its handle and pulling
it slowly out of the printer (fig. 9.2).
3. Replace the orange protective covers on each of the toner
cartridges (fig. 9.3) and place each cartridge back into its
original packaging.

Plug the Auger Opening

1. Make sure the printer's top and front covers (fig. 9.4) are open
completely. Opening the front cover pulls the toner bays
forward, making room to remove the OPC belt cartridge easily
from behind the toner bays.

If you do not open the front cover before the OPC
belt cartridge removal, permanent damage may
occur to the OPC belt cartridge.
