Do not use media that
is unusually thick, thin, wrinkled, torn, curled, creased, wet,
damp, or otherwise damaged.
is synthetically reinforced, colored with surface treatment, or
heavily textured.
has metal clasps, strings, staples, cutouts, perforations, or windows.
Caution:
Using media that does not meet these guidelines may
void your printer warranty. XANTÉ is not responsible
for damages caused by media. Repair will be at the
user's expense.

Storing Media

To prevent media damage, store media
in small, flat stacks (not on its side or end).
in its original wrapper in a location with a temperature range
from 50 to 86˚ F (10 to 30˚ C) and a stable relative humidity
from 30 to 65%.
in a dark area; do not expose it to direct sunlight.

Media Sizes

Your printer allows you to use media from sizes as small as 4.1" x
9.5" (105 mm x 241 mm) and 4.3" x 8.7" (110 mm x 220 mm) up to
13.00" x 19.00" (330 mm x 483 mm).

Imageable Area

Physical page size is different from the imageable area. The portion of a
physical page on which the printer can lay down toner is the imageable
area. The following chart lists imageable areas produced by the XANTÉ
Colour ScreenWriter printer for standard media sizes.
