Myriad Film
• offers you an exceptional semitransparent film specifically
designed for printing film positives. This film is available in two
types, Myriad (which is opaque) and Myriad Clear so that you
can choose the type with which you prefer to work. This high
quality film, with low UV blockage, was developed specially for
your printer.
Myriad 2 LaserGloss Paper
• ensures the highest quality output for proofs and presentations.
Use the custom profiles included with your printer with this
paper to produce rich, vibrant color output.
Myriad 2 Laser Vinyl
• provides the best coating for laser printing to create indoor or
outdoor, waterproof, tear-resistant signs and labels for heavy-
duty, long-term durability.
Myriad 2 Overhead Transparencies
• eliminate light scatter making them perfect for laser-printed
presentations. Use the custom profiles included with the printer
along with these transparencies to produce solid, rich, vibrant
color output.
Myriad 2 Heat Transfer Paper
• offers optimized top coating. Solid tone dots and outstanding
coverage provides crisp images.

Selecting Media

To prevent jams and print quality problems when selecting media for
your printer, use media that
• can withstand a temperature of 392˚ F (200˚ C). Label adhesive
and preprinted inks, such as letterhead, that cannot withstand
these temperatures can damage the printer's fusing rollers
permanently.
• meets weight and media type requirements. See "Loading
Media" later in this chapter.
