This option is not for use with XANTÉ Colour ScreenWriter
printers.

More X-ACT

This menu option is not for use with XANTÉ Colour ScreenWriter
printers. However, X-ACT is available through the printer's front
panel. See "Accurate Calibration Technology (X-ACT)" in chapter 6
for details.

Ports Menu

The Ports menu allows you to select the PC port through which you
are connected to the printer for XANTÉ Command Center (fig.
4.26).

Procedures

This section covers procedures for using XANTÉ Utilities.

Color Linearization (Calibration)

Using a densitometer capable of reading dot area and XANTÉ
Command Center, you can color calibrate (linearize) your printer's
performance to eliminate color inconsistencies due to resolution and
lpi (lines per inch) settings; to replacement of OPC belt and toners
cartridges; to different media types; and to environmental conditions.
